‘I want freedom in my search of natural expression of our Terroirs. Even if this means no AOC!’
Cahors ‘Bois Carmin’ 2020
‘Bois Carmin’ could have been the name of a color or perhaps a forest. It is not so!
It is a perfume, the perfume of Malbec. The perfume of a deep and complex wine of Terroir.
Violets, liquorice and beetroot on the nose with a touch of spices but so elegant at the same time.
On the palate it comes across as meaty and velvety, with a long and intense taste.
A modern interpretation of Cahors!
The wine aged 15 months, half of it in concret tanks, the other half in used barrels.
